Lancaster City Bureau of Police

K&KA teamed with architect of record Brinkley Sargent Architects of Dallas, TX, to coordinate the design and construction of a new police facility in downtown Lancaster. Our firm served as liaison architect responsible for state and local project representation and interior design assistance. Design services included coordination of interior and exterior material finish selections, building code and variance applications, and local engineering consultant interface requirements. Working with a challenging urban site, the four-story structure successfully houses administrative offices and typical police related amenities in addition to below grade parking, a 12-cell detention block, indoor firing range, emergency operations center, fitness area and locker rooms.
