The U-GRO Hershey corporate office and preschool is the latest design developed by K&KA in response to continued company growth. Brick masonry and stucco walls with large expanses of glazed curtain wall, functionally-deep roof projections, and decorative metal panels modulate an animated but rich façade texture for this state-of-the-art administrative and training facility.

The program is organized around a spacious first floor circulation spine, affording direct and clear sight lines to preschool classrooms. A glass enclosed pedestrian pathway links a new classroom wing to the existing preschool and indoor and outdoor play areas. The second floor of the new structure, reached via a grand communicating stair within a two-story lobby, houses the Training Center, a café, enclosed private offices and conference rooms, and open, spacious communal work spaces. Extended height ceilings, abundant daylight, and an outdoor deck are designed to enhance a business culture of inclusiveness and teamwork.
