Born in Cleveland, OH in 1958, Mr. Kelley is a 1976 graduate of West Geauga High School in Cleveland, OH. After graduating from Ohio State University, he worked for ten years in Columbus, obtaining his professional registration in 1989. During his tenure in Columbus, Steven worked on a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential type projects and with many noteworthy clientele including: Fifth Third Bank, Barnes and Noble Bookstore, Weastec Manufacturing, Mid-Ohio Tempering, Holt-Refrakis Equipment Company, Monsignor Kennedy Parish Hall and Community Center, Saturn West, Bobby Rahal Lexus, Ricart Auto Mall, and Ohio Automobile Dealers Association.

Mr. Kelley relocated to Pennsylvania in 1993. He began as a project architect for Levengood Associates and continued in 1994 with the newly formed Levengood Kautter Architects. Mr. Kelley was lead professional on the Amtrak Passenger Station and C&S Repair Shop, Faulkner BMW, Canal Street Pub & Restaurant, The Highlands Fitness Center, Shady Oak Apartments, Lanco Sports ‘N Turf, and New School of Lancaster. Mr. Kelley became a principal in 1999 when the firm was restructured and renamed KAUTTER & KELLEY ARCHITECTS.

Notable commissions at K&KA for which Mr. Kelley has been lead principal include Millersville University, U-Gro Learning Centers, Manheim Township School District, Gettysburg School District, Lancaster Bureau of Police, Tidewater Outfitters, Wickersham Construction, Textile Chemical Co., and Hershey Park.
